On August 1st 2020 the government of Costa Rica authorized the opening airports for international flights.
To keep your trip safe, we have activated the following protocols while traveling aboard our vehicles or during an excursion. We recommend that you read them very carefully.
Before boarding passengers on our vehicles.
All drivers from our company should wash hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. We constantly remind to our staff to avoid touching their face, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Drivers should cover their cough or sneeze with a tissue.
We are monitoring frequently supplies to ensure adequate amounts of liquid soap, paper towel, hand sanitizer, tissues, and no-touch waste receptacles with lined plastic bags for driver and passenger use in every vehicle. Our Drivers will use hand sanitizer after helping with a passenger’s personal items.
We will monitor our staff health Daily taken their temperature and we will be alert for symptoms like fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms.
We have posted signs with information to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in our vehicles where the information can be seen by passengers
Routine environmental cleaning and disinfection of vehicles
We clean detailed all frequently touched surfaces are most likely to be contaminated with the virus that causes COVID19. Examples of high-touch surfaces: vehicle door handles and frames, arm rest, windows and controls, seatbelt buckles, steering wheel, gearshift, signal levers, ventilation, and radio controls.
In addition to routine cleaning, surfaces that have frequent contact with hands should be cleaned and disinfected at the following times:
- At least twice per day
- When visibly dirty
- After transporting passengers
Disinfectant wipes have combined cleaners and disinfectants in one solution. Disinfectant wipes should be discarded if they become dry and are not recommended for heavily soiled surfaces.
Preventive measures while transporting passengers
All drivers wear government-approved protective face masks.
Before boarding our vehicles, the driver will spray your luggage with a sanitize solution that will not cause damage to your luggage. In addition, he will have a gel alcohol for passengers. Each person must wear the mask face while on board our vehicles.
It is recommended that when there are four or more passengers that a larger vehicle with more seating, such as a large mini-van, or mini-bus be used so that individuals do not sit next to the driver. Passengers travelling in the same vehicle should be part of the same social circle.
We consider minimizing shared rides so passengers are not travelling with individuals unknown to them, private airport transfer and private transportation hotel to hotel will be the only service available in our company
We will use the vehicle climate control system and windows to improve fresh air intake/air circulation. Increased airflow can reduce contaminant build up. We will avoid using the recirculated air option during passenger transport.
