Transportation to Occidental Tamarindo provides a direct private connection from Guanacaste Airport (LIR) or San José Airport (SJO) to the resort at Playa Langosta. Your vehicle is reserved exclusively for your party, allowing you to avoid fixed shared-shuttle schedules, taxi negotiations and multiple hotel drop-offs after your flight.
Guests arriving at LIR can travel directly across Guanacaste to the hotel, while travelers landing at SJO can reserve a comfortable long-distance transfer with sufficient room for passengers and luggage. A planned meal, coffee or restroom stop can be added to the SJO route when requested in advance.
Guanacaste Viajes & Tours coordinates the arrival process before your flight lands. We monitor the flight information submitted with the reservation and send your confirmation, airport meeting instructions, driver name, license plate, vehicle color and contact details by email. We also reconfirm the transportation service through WhatsApp before pickup.
Occidental Tamarindo and Occidental Papagayo are different resorts in different parts of Guanacaste. Occidental Tamarindo is located at Playa Langosta, south of central Tamarindo. We verify the exact property and drop-off location before dispatching your driver to prevent routing mistakes.
After collecting your luggage, meet your assigned driver outside the airport terminal. Your driver will assist with your bags and take you directly to the hotel in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle. Infant seats, toddler seats, boosters and vehicles for larger groups or additional luggage can be requested in advance.
To reserve, select LIR or SJO in the online booking system and enter your travel date, flight number, passenger count and luggage information. One-way and round-trip transfers are available. Review our airport arrival instructions, compare services on our transportation from Liberia Airport page and explore our private vehicle fleet.
