Transportation to Volcano Lodge provides a private, door-to-door connection from San José Airport (SJO) or Guanacaste Airport (LIR) to the Arenal Volcano region. Reserving your transfer in advance allows you to avoid fixed shared-shuttle schedules, rental-car paperwork and driving unfamiliar rural roads after an international flight.
SJO offers the shortest road distance to the hotel, while LIR is a practical option for travelers combining La Fortuna with Papagayo, Tamarindo, Playa Conchal or another Guanacaste destination. Both routes cross changing terrain, and travel times can vary because of rain, traffic and road conditions. A planned coffee, meal, grocery or restroom stop can be requested in advance.

We monitor the flight information submitted with your reservation and send your confirmation, airport meeting instructions, driver name, license plate, vehicle color and contact details by email. We also reconfirm the transportation service through WhatsApp before pickup.
After collecting your luggage, meet your assigned driver outside the terminal. Your driver will assist with your bags and take your group directly to Volcano Lodge in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle reserved exclusively for your party. The service does not include unrelated passengers or unnecessary hotel drop-offs.
