About This Tour
The Arenal Sky Tram, Zipline and La Fortuna Waterfall Tour combines rainforest scenery, aerial views, adventure and one of the Arenal region’s most famous natural attractions during a private full-day excursion from Guanacaste.
Your day begins with an early pickup from your hotel, resort or vacation rental. Travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle toward the Arenal region, passing rural communities, farmland and the landscapes surrounding Lake Arenal. An included breakfast stop provides time to rest before arriving at Sky Adventures Arenal Park.
The adventure begins aboard the Sky Tram, a scenic aerial gondola that travels more than 800 meters through the forested mountains. During the ascent, enjoy elevated views of the rainforest, Lake Arenal and the surrounding volcanic landscape. At the upper observation area, guests can visit the Hand of Arenal viewpoint before preparing for the zipline experience.
After receiving the required equipment and safety briefing from the professional activity guides, begin the Sky Adventures zipline course. The experience features seven mountain-to-mountain cables positioned above the forest, with panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal when weather conditions are clear. The park uses an assisted braking system, allowing participants to concentrate on the experience and scenery.
After completing the adventure, continue to a selected local restaurant for an included Costa Rican lunch.
The final activity is a visit to La Fortuna Waterfall. The route to the base includes approximately 530 steps through tropical forest. At the bottom, enjoy views of the 70-meter waterfall and time beside the Fortuna River. Swimming may be possible in designated areas when water levels and local conditions permit.
After returning to the entrance and changing into dry clothes, meet your private driver for the journey back to Guanacaste.
