About This Tour
The Hacienda Guachipelin Adventure Tour combines some of Guanacasteâs most exciting outdoor activities with private transportation and time to relax in naturally heated volcanic waters. Located near RincĂłn de la Vieja National Park, Hacienda GuachipelĂn is surrounded by tropical dry forest, volcanic landscapes, rivers and dramatic canyons.
Your day begins with private pickup from your hotel or vacation rental in one of our selected Guanacaste service areas. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle toward Hacienda GuachipelĂn, where the parkâs professional activity guides provide instructions, safety equipment and assistance throughout the different adventures.
The experience includes the Canyon Canopy Tour through the RĂo Blanco Canyon, featuring zip lines and rappelling above the river and forest. You will also experience the RĂo Negro Tubing Adventure, navigating an exciting section of Class III rapids in an individual inflatable tube.
An optional horseback-riding portion provides another way to explore the haciendaâs trails and waterfall area. A traditional Costa Rican lunch is included during the day, giving you time to rest before continuing with the remaining activities.
The tour finishes at the RĂo Negro Hot Springs, where you can unwind in volcano-heated thermal pools surrounded by tropical forest. Guests may also experience the volcanic mud bath before changing into dry clothes and meeting their driver for the private return transfer to the hotel.
