About This Tour
The Treetopia Monteverde Sky Adventure Tour combines aerial views, cloud forest trails and an exciting zipline experience during a private full-day excursion from Guanacaste.
Formerly known as Sky Adventures Monteverde, Treetopia Park is located high in the Monteverde mountains and protects an extensive area of cloud forest. The park’s Explorer Package combines its three classic experiences: the TreeTram cableway, SkyTrek ziplines and SkyWalk hanging bridges.
Your day begins with an early private pickup from your hotel, resort or vacation rental. Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle through rural Guanacaste, passing farmland, small communities and mountain scenery. An included breakfast stop provides time to rest before continuing toward Monteverde.
At Treetopia Park, begin with a scenic TreeTram ride through the cloud forest canopy. The cableway climbs toward one of the park’s highest areas, providing elevated views of the surrounding mountains, forest and mist-covered landscape.
After receiving your helmet, harness and safety briefing, continue with the SkyTrek zipline adventure. The course includes seven cables extending across approximately 1.9 miles, with individual lines reaching up to 2,460 feet in length and heights of up to 328 feet. The braking system is operated by the park’s trained guides, so participants do not need to brake manually.
The experience also includes the SkyWalk, a 1.7-mile combination of forest trails and six suspension bridges. The bridges provide access to different levels of the cloud forest and opportunities to observe moss-covered trees, ferns, tropical plants and possible wildlife. Animal sightings vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
