About This Tour
The Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges and Hot Springs Tour combines rainforest wildlife, impressive suspension bridges, views of the Arenal Volcano and a relaxing thermal-water experience during a private full-day trip from Guanacaste.
Your day begins with an early private pickup from your hotel, resort or vacation rental. Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle around Lake Arenal toward La Fortuna, stopping for an included breakfast along the way. The journey offers changing views of Guanacaste’s countryside, mountain landscapes and the Arenal region.
Upon arrival at Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, your bilingual nature guide will lead you through a 3.2-kilometer rainforest trail containing 16 bridges, including six suspension bridges positioned above the forest floor. The walk provides access to different levels of the rainforest and excellent opportunities to observe tropical vegetation, birds and wildlife. Animal sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed.
The trail is considered moderate and includes gentle slopes, steps and sections that may become wet during rainy weather. Your guide will explain the rainforest ecosystem and assist the group while crossing the bridges and exploring the surrounding forest.
After completing the hanging bridges experience, enjoy an included lunch before continuing to Ecotermales Hot Springs. Spend the afternoon relaxing in naturally heated thermal water flowing through tropical gardens, cascading streams and volcanic-stone pools.
